PTZ Controller software is a virtual PTZ camera keyboard or joystick. It supports Sony VISCA protocol. It allows you to control Sony PTZ camera or some other VISCA protocol camera, such as Vaddio camera, with your computer mouse and keyboard.
To control Sony VISCA PTZ camera with PTZ Controller software:
1. Download and install PTZ Controller software, and run PTZ Controller software.
2. Connect Sony PTZ camera with your computer by RS232C cable.
3.Click menu Setting -> Camera Manager -> New to select Protocol Sony (VISCA).
3. Be sure to select the right Baud Rate (9600 for VISCA protocol) and COM Port connected with your VISCA protocol PTZ camera.
4. You also need to select Camera address if you have more than one camera connected with your computer. Otherwise, just keep the camera address as default value 001.
5. Now, it’s ready to move the mouse or press the keyboard to control your VISCA protocol PTZ Camera.
6. PTZ Controller software supports standard Windows keyboard shortcuts. You can Control VISCA protocol PTZ camera with keyboard shortcuts.
7. PTZ Controller software also supports USB joystick or gamepad. It turns USB joystick or gamepad to VISCA protocol PTZ camera controller.
