How to create Relay Control Button with N-Button Pro/Lite

N-Button Pro and N-Button Lite make it possible to control relay controller boards of National Control Devices and K8090/VM8090 relay card of Velleman without any programming! You can create a button to control relays with a few clicks in N-Button Pro/Lite.

Here are the steps to create relay control button widget.

1. Download N-Button Pro or N-Button Lite and install it. Double click the N-Button icon to run it. N-Button Pro/Lite Manager will be shown on your screen.

2. Click Setting button to select the Manufactory for your relay, National Control Devices or Velleman.

3. Select connection method between relay board and computer, Serial Port/USB or Network.

4. Click “Relay Button” on N-Button Pro/Lite Manager to show Properties – Relay Button dialog to set control action and appearance for Relay Button widget.

Relay Button widget can be set to control single relay or multi relays. It can turn on/off relays, toggle relay status, and set status of relays. The built-in relay buttons can display the current status for single relay. You also can load your own relay button image.

5. Click OK button to return to N-Button Pro/Lite Manager. Click ”Relay Button” to add more widgets. Click OK button on N-Button Pro/Lite Manager, you will see the Relay Button widgets floating on your desktop.

As long as the connection between your relay board/card and your computer is available, the created Relay Button widgets are ready to control your relays.
