\n <\/a> 1. How to Configure<\/p> \n \n

\n In order to control your device with Relay Timer, be sure to connect NCD \n ProXR relay board\n with your computer and connect your device with the relay board at first, then set the \n configuration as below.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click \n \n <\/strong>button to open the Configuration<\/strong> dialog.\n <\/p>\n

\n  <\/p>\n

\n ProXR Relay Board: <\/strong>This panel is to manage extension ProXR \n relay boards.<\/p>\n

\n Connection:<\/strong> This panel is to set connection ways, Com Port or Network.<\/p>\n

\n Communication: <\/strong>This panel is to set communication parameters. \n The default is two-way communication.<\/p>\n

\n Romate Access: <\/strong>Select "Enable Control Relmotely" checkboxt to activate Romote \n Access. Relay Timer can be controlled from other computer by visting the current \n computer's IP address.<\/p>\n

\n Select "Auto run after login Windows" checkbox, Relay Timer will be run after \n login Windows automatically.<\/p>\n

\n <\/a>2. How to Turn On\/Off Relay Manually\n <\/p>\n \n

\n The light on top right of relay control panel indicates the status\n of the relay.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n Red is for relay off. Green is for relay on.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click \n <\/strong> button down\n \n to step into manual operation mode.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click the slider\n \n to turn on the relay. The light becomes green.<\/p>\n

\n Click the slider\n \n to turn off the relay. The light becomes red.\n <\/p>\n \n \n

\n <\/a>3. How to Turn On\/Off Relay Automatically<\/p>\n \n

\n Click \n <\/strong> button down\n \n to step into auto mode.<\/p>\n

\n The default mode is auto mode. The schedule of the relay action must be set at first.<\/p>\n

\n Click \n <\/strong> button on the\n relay control panel to open Relay Setting<\/strong> dialog.\n <\/p>\n

\n \n <\/p>\n

\n The relay can be given a name here.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click Add<\/strong> button to open Schedule Setting<\/strong> dialog.<\/p>\n

\n \n <\/p>\n

\n Edit the Schedule Name<\/strong><\/em>, select Relay Status<\/strong><\/em>,\n set Schedule Time<\/strong><\/em>, select Recurrence Pattern<\/strong><\/em>\n and Range <\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Click OK<\/strong> to return Relay Setting <\/strong>dialog.<\/p>\n

\n Different schedules can be added by this way.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click OK<\/strong> to finish relay setting.\n <\/p>\n

\n The relay will be turned on\/off automatically according to the schedule list.<\/p>\n \n

\n <\/a>4. How to Customize Relay Status \n <\/p>\n \n

\n The status of relay can be customized except only on or off.<\/p>\n

\n For example, relay can be on 10 minutes, off 5 minutes within one hour, and on 20\n minutes and off 10 minutes within the other one hour. This can be set as steps below.\n <\/p>\n

\n Step1. Click \n <\/strong> button on the\n relay control panel to open Relay Setting<\/strong> dialog.\n <\/p>\n

\n \n <\/p>\n

\n Step 2. Click Add<\/strong> button to open Schedule Setting<\/strong>\n dialog.<\/p>\n

\n \n <\/p>\n

\n Edit the Schedule Name<\/strong><\/em>, set Schedule Time<\/strong><\/em>(2\n hours), select Recurrence Pattern<\/strong><\/em> and Range <\/strong>\n <\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n Step 3. Click Customize Action<\/strong><\/em> or the edit button beside\n it to open Customize Action<\/strong> dialog.\n <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\n Step 4. Click Add<\/strong> button to open Actcion Rule<\/strong>\n dialog.\n <\/p>\n

\n Set Turn On<\/em><\/strong> 10 minutes, Turn Off<\/em><\/strong>\n 5 minutes and Loop Count<\/strong><\/em> 4.\n <\/p>\n

\n <\/p>\n

\n Click OK<\/strong> to return Customize Action <\/strong>dialog. The\n action will be shown in the list.\n <\/p>\n

\n Step 5. Click Add button to open Actcion Rule<\/strong><\/a>\n dialog again.<\/p>\n

\n Set Turn On<\/em><\/strong> 20 minutes, Turn Off<\/em><\/strong>\n 10 minutes and Loop Count<\/strong><\/em> 2.<\/p>\n

\n Click OK<\/strong> to return Customize Action <\/strong>dialog.The\n action will also be shown in the list.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click OK<\/strong><\/em> button to return Schedule Setting<\/strong><\/a> dialog and then click OK<\/em><\/strong> button again to return \n Relay Setting<\/strong><\/a>\n dialog.\n <\/p>\n

\n Click OK<\/strong> to finish relay setting.\n <\/p>\n

\n The relay will be turned on\/off automatically according to the customized setting.<\/p>\n \n

\n <\/a>\n 5. How to Launch with Command Line<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

Relay Timer supports command line operation. It can be launched with a specified \n configuration file or schedule setting file.<\/p>\n

Format: <\/p>\n

"Path to RelayTimer.exe" -c "Path \n to *.cfg"<\/em><\/strong>    <\/p>\n

"Path to RelayTimer.exe" -as "Path \n to *.asch"<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n <\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Note: <\/p>\n

The parameter "-c" is to launch a new Relay Timer \n instance with the specified configuration file \n (*.cfg). Both the contents in Configuration\n dialog and all Relay Setting dialogs will \n be loaded.  \n If the *.cfg file does not exist, it will be created in the specified path \n automatically. After editing the Configuration dialog and Setting dialogs, the \n information will be saved to the created *.cfg file. When the command is run \n next time, all information will be loaded.<\/p>\n

The parameter ”-as” is to launch a new Relay Timer instance with the schedule setting file \n (*.asch). The content of Relay \n Setting dialog for all relays on all boards will be loaded.  \n All information will be saved in the default configuration file. <\/o:p>\n When Relay Timer is launched by Icon on desktop or start menu, it loads the \n default configuration file. When you run this command, you need make sure the \n current default configuration file is same as when the *.asch file was saved.<\/o:p><\/p>\n
